Day 5...

This was a long day...6ish am, out the door to the Aladdin. Play for a bit, and we hit
Cheesburger in Paradise for breakfast. Nice joint, good eats and not crazy cash, but a
bit more pricey than the Mexican Cantina. We decide to check out the Alladin, or should
I say, check in for the day. Consider it research...we secured a very cheap rate and
head up to the room by noon for some football and nap!

So as Brady and the boyz from NE put another hurting on the Colts, we take our time showering,
and preparing for the upcoming STYXX concert tonite. Back down to the casino at 530 and
happily walk over to the sports book to pick up my huge (lol) 50 dollar win bet! First time I
have ever wagered on a game at a sports book, so I was psyched!

Play some pennies as we wait to head to the show. Nothing to write home about, but I hold
on to my initial ten dollar wager for a couple of hours. Wife is doing the same. About
7ish we head to the concert and get ready to rock.

Nice venue at the Aladdin, very comfy chairs. The warm-up band gets going at 8 and they
rock till about 915. They were very good, with some of Santana's original members, so
they played some of their stuff and some Santana.

Styxx heads on at 930 and rocks us till midnite. Now I have been in bands since high school,
and still gig out a bit with a band. We can get quite loud, but I forgot how loud a
REAL band can be! They bring out a couple of jazz legends after their last number...damn it
forgot their names, but these cats were still rockin and were at least 70. Styxx ended
with Renegade...were slapping 5s with the crowd, so the wife heads towards the stage to
get a high five from Tommy Shaw...we were only 5 rows deep, so she gets the 5 and we
are off.

Now as I said earlier, we had checked into to the Alladin for the nite. We try to check
out another hotel every time we come(we consider it worth it to see if we would like the
hotel for a future stay). We had a great view of the strip...free upgrade,
no 20 dollar trick. Although the room was decent, it was not the Bellagio bedding and
the walls may be a bit thin. So we decide to come back to the B to sleep and will check
out of the A tomorrow.

Hit the snack bar at the B and hit the sack around 2 am. I am up at 6 hitting some joe
and we are gonna hit the pool today and chill. I am out!
