I am writing this to comment on the wonderful experience than my girlfriend and I had on a recent trip to the Main Street Station. From the moment we stepped foot on the property every aspect of the service was exceptional. I have been coming to Las Vegas for 12 years, at least twice a year, and I have stayed at many different locations both Downtown and on the Strip. I have stayed at the Tropicana, Boardwalk, Paris, Harrah’s, and Caesars Palace. Downtown I have stayed at The Plaza, and many times at the Four Queens. I only say this because I feel I have experienced many other properties to compare to the Main Street. In all aspects my experience at the property was the best. The service was comparable to, but better than Harrah’s and Caesars. The casino and hotel was the nicest of any Downtown, and the accommodations and treatment more comfortable than any on the strip.

Many individual employees made the experience wonderful as well. All of the people at the front desk were very helpful. The people at the VIP club were incredibly friendly and accommodating-EXCELLENT COMPS!. The restaurant staff(s) was awesome, and the service was perfect. The casino hosts that I dealt with were the best I have experienced in all of my trips to Las Vegas. Even the bell staff, after check-out arranged for a very comfortable, affordable and easy shuttle to the airport. Playing mostly video poker at the bar, the bartenders were all incredibly friendly and offered great service. I have never written a trip report, good or bad to a Vegas casino, but I was so impressed I felt compelled to do so.

This is the “old-school” Vegas casino that I have been looking for, where the focus is squarely on the customer and the gaming, and it WORKS!!!
