Ok everyone... this is going be brief & to the point. The was the 1st trip my wife & I took w/out our friends so you won't be reading the usual drunken accounts... which will disappoint some & make others happy.

I'm just going to break this down into some categories & hit the highlights:

ROOM: Wynn standard rooms are the nicest in Vegas... at least IMO. Everyone knows the details by now... plasmas, floor to ceiling windows, extra large bathroom w/his & her sinks & a vanity table in between, huge extra comfortable king bed, etc. etc. The daily maid service & turndown service was once again excellent!

CASINO: Wynn was packed while we were there... more importantly the tables were packed. To me, the WYNN casino has the best feel of any in Vegas. WINNING probably has something to do with it.... but the excellent drink service & friendly dealers are definitely factors as well! Speaking of the drink service... WYNN has to have the hottest cocktail waitresses in Vegas. WOW! My wife & I are really starting to appreciate the design of the casino w/the two level Parasol Up & Down Bar and the nice open design. It's not the biggest casino, but we love the layout! Once imporvement since last time is definitely Corsa...WOW what a difference the renovations made! Once KNOCK on WYNN is the sportsbook. It's small & you need drink coupons! Even worse, it's 1 coupon per $100 bet! Terrible!

DINING:
Daniel Boulud - The atmosphere was great, the service was ok, the Short Ribs were BAD. Tasted like beef stew! My wife said her filet was average... not even as good as Ruths Chris. SW was SO much better than this place!
TAO - Dcent atmosphere...very hip place. My Kung Pao chicken was decent but twice the price of PF Changs & 1/2 the taste! My wife got the California Rolls & some type of noodles. She then spent the rest of the night in our room with food poisoning. Sorry...can't reccomend TAO.
STACK - One word - EXCELLENT - Mirage has really stepped it up w/this addition. The atmosphere is great, the food is great, & the service is great. Enjoyed it even more than FIX at Bellagio...although we like them both. I go the Kobe Burger - WOW it was good. My wife got the filet & although she said it was better than Boulud, it was still not SW quality. Side dishes are Phenomenal as well. Twice baked potatoes & adult tater tots were awesome! For dessert try the munchkin jelly donuts!
ZEFFIRINOS - Another great meal. We were strolling through the Grand Canal shops & decided to give it a try. Great spot if you enjoy Italian. Prices are moderate, atmosphere is great, and the wood fired pizzas & pasta were excellent! Also a good selection of desserts!
ZOOZACRACKERS - This is the self serve deli at WYNN that back up to the sportsbook. It was PACKED & the reason is the food! Highly recommend the ZOOZABURGER & Carrot Cake!
MON AMI GABI - Love this place for lunch on the patio! Second time here & it did not disappoint. Try the Croque Monsieur... it is Incredible!
WYNN ROOM SERVICE - Exactly what you would expect. Prompt, Tasty, & $$$!

SHOWS:
Jay Leno - We were both surprised at how funny he was. Great show, Good varied material, & just about the perfect length. He was on a little over an hour. Beware of the opening act though. Evidently one of Danny Gans friends (some singer Kenny Chestny?) opens for Leno. He is on for about 20 minutes singing slow depressing songs & it is TOTALLY OUT OF PLACE! Whatever happened to the warmup comedian?
"0" - Years ago my wife & I went to Mystere. It was the 1st night of our trip & we were tired. Fell alseep. So, we chalked that up to a bad experience & decided to try "O". WHAT IS IT THAT KEEPS PEOPLE FILLING THE SEATS? We just don't get it. Trust me when I say we were not the only ones fighting to stay awake! We expected so much more! More acrobatics... more diving. What we got were long segments of boring annoying clowns followed by brief acrobatics/diving and lots of Contortion. WOW...what a disappointment! Done with Cirque... it's just not for us!

GAMBLING: What a Great trip for me. Every time I sat at the blackjack table @ WYNN I won! I did give a little back to Let it Ride 7 the slots though. Ended UP about $500-600. My wife was addicted to the 5 cent WYNN megabucks. Started off well... but that combined with some other slots left her down about $200-300! One more note about blackjack. Wynn did have the dreaded 6:5 Single Deck. I immediately called the Pit Boss over & told her WHY I was moving to a different table. Unfortunately I don't think it matters anymore as EVERY casino had the 6:5 game! In terms of table limits for those who care, nothing under $10 at WYNN... and sometimes $15.... but BJ is the one game I don't mind the higher limits at. Plenty of $5 tables at other casinos including Bellagio & Mirage.

POKER: The WYNN poker room is great. It's not as nice or as large at Bellagio, but it's nice enough & has a great $1/3 No Limit game! The drink service is great as well!

CLUB/BAR NOTE: Did monstly gambling & shows this trip, but wanted to note that TRYST is drawing a crowd which is good news for WYNN & JET had a huge wait when we walked by on Friday. Have to say I love the changes at Mirage!
