This was our first trip to Fabulous Las Vegas, and boy we were not disappointed!! We flew in on Northwest Airlines from Detroit, landed without incident and got our luggage. Proceeded to our shuttle pickup, ODS very efficient, the driver whose name was Scott was very helpful and entertaining. got us to the hotel in 20 minutes.
The hotel and staff were wonderful. The Casino was great too, didn't win much there but had a great time none-the-less. Check-in was a breeze as was check-out. The rooms were big and nice and clean, we stayed in the south tower.
Downtown Fremont was the best!! So much to do and see. We liked the Fremont Casino, it was very good to me, won $1500 total in slot play there. Loved the light show at night and the Cowgirls at Binions, very entertaining!
Went to the strip once for a show at the Riviera casino. Went to see Jay White as Neil Diamond, was not disappointed. He was fabulous, recommend going to see him. Played in a slot tourney while we waited to see Neil Diamond Tribute, that was fun too! Didn't qualify for the next round...lol.
Went to MSS for the buffet, OMG it was fantastic, the food was in abundance, there wasn't much we missed on trying a nibble at. Would recommend eating there too! Went to the Golden Nugget too, thank God there was a Starbucks in there. Was dying for a real cup of Java!! Went into Mermaids and had one of their big-ass drinks, the bartender asked if we wanted an extra shot for a buck, we said sure. Oh-Oh didn't realize it was 151%, OMG one swig of it and I was already feeling my tongue go numb...lol Saved the glass tho!!
Can't wait to go to back to *Fabulous Las Vegas* in June, this time we'll make it a point to go see the strip.
