This was a solo trip and its sole purpose was to participate in a 3 card poker tournament at the Hilton.

Flight out of Philadelphia was uneventful once we took off. 2 hour delay due to weather and flew on SWA. Upon arrival at LAS found the airport to be packed.Baggage claim was fast. No problem at the taxi line, waited 5 minutes.

Staff at the Hilton was great and check in was smooth. I guess utilizing my elite status made it go faster. Room was on the 27 floor looking towards the strip.

Eating was not a great concern on this trip so I limited myself to the restaurants at the Hilton. Charged to the room and my casino host took care of those.

Gambling consisted of mostly table play. Games were 3 card poker, Ultimate Texas Hold 'em, Let it Die and Craps. 3 card poker was cruel this trip. New game of UTH was fantastic game made a profit to outway my losses on 3 card poker. Craps was great hit fire bet for 5 numbers on a $5 bet, payed 250 - 1. Let it ride was ok hit quads so i broke even. My 3 card poker tournament went well, placed in the $$$. Actually found some 9/6 VP and played, nothing big was hit. Best hit on a slot machine was on a 1 cent Hot Penny machine. Invested $10 walked away with $150.

When not gambling I took walks. things I noticed were:

Hooters is over rated.
A lot of construction going on.
Nothing like walking the Strip and taking in the sights, It will never grow old.
Downtown at night on Freemont St. was FUN!

I took in some shows. They were:

Carrot Top.


Flight home was great. Great tail wind and only 60 people on the plane.

In closing, solo trips are ok but would still like to go with a group.
Las Vegas will never grow old.
