Flights: Southwest out of Pittsburgh at around 5 PM. Everything was on time and the flight was smooth. Arrived in Vegas a little early around 6:25 PM. Our flight was in the AM on the way home and all I wanted to do was sleep, but all the idiot stewardesses wanted to do was play games with everybody. Don’t they know not to do this on an early flight from Vegas.

Hotel: Stayed at Harrah’s and had a deluxe renovated room. Check in was pretty short and I had no complaints about the place.

Gambling: Played mostly VP, BJ and craps. Ended up winning a small amount I think.

Food: EI steak dinner twice: excellent and couldn’t finish it, Caesars Chinese place in their food court: pretty good, and Slots a Fun Hot Dog: Heart attack on a bun.

Drinks: Seemed like a lot of the mixed drinks I had at the casinos didn’t have alcohol in them. Next time I might just stick to straight stuff and beer.

Thurs. 1/10


No waiting for a cab and my dad and I took one over to Harrahs. Cost was around 14.30+tip no tunnel. Got to Harrahs and unpacked, mixed a drink and got cleaned up for the evening. My cousin and a few of his buddies came over and met me in the room at Harrahs. Left Harrahs with the group and went over to the IP to meet up with some more of the group. They ate at Burger Palace and then we headed off to Planet Hollywood where two of us checked out the Sin City Brew Co. Brews were pretty damn good. Headed into the casino where I smoked a cigar and everyone gambled a bit. Went back to the IP after our stint at PH and then planned on making it over to the Palms. I forgot which casino we left from to go to the Palms, but we ended up taking a party bus over there. Got some free play at the Palms and proceeded to play some VP and BJ while a couple guys headed up to the Playboy club. Broke even at the Palms and we decided to cab it over to the Ellis Island at that point I think for some BJ and their infamous steak dinner. I used a MP there and lost and ended winning a little at BJ. The Steak was good as usually and their beer seemed to improve a bit I think. Cabbed it back to the IP and I went straight to the room at Harrahs. At this point it was around 6 am and I was pretty drunk. Downed a bunch of water and hit the sack.

Fri. 1/11

Got up at 8am because my sister called my Dad’s phone. What a jerk. Couldn’t really go back to sleep and spent the morning on the toilet thanks to the Ellis Island. Showered around 11 and put on a shirt and tie cause it was dress up day in Vegas. Walked down to the Venetian with a buddy to go to the Adult Entertainment Expo, but I decided against it cause the line was huge and no one else was going. Signed up for a players card at the Venetian, ran through 10 bucks in free play and got a cocktail. Walked back to O’Sheas and in the process stopped at Casino Royale for a funbook and used the buy one get one coupon for a margarita and a Michelob. What a deal. Hit the craps table at O’Sheas with the crew for a bit and lost a little. After this all I remember is that everyone met up at Harrahs in the Toby Keith Party Pit. We headed north up the strip stopping in the Palazzo and visiting Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club. Next we hit the Wynn and gambled a bit there. The we finally hit Slots A Fun where I had a free heart attack hot dog and a beer. Played some deal or no deal slots and then found a good BJ table and played there for a while. After Slots A Fun we hopped on the deuce and took it down to NY/NY. Gambled some and then went to the Luxor for more of the same shenanigans. Damn fine women at the Luxor. Some of us walked over to the MGM and encountered a hot hooker in the process who claimed she was the “best slut machine in vegas”. I wish she would of proved it for free. Got to MGM and hit the Sigma Derby. Lost money on the derby but at least they give you free drinks while you’re playing it. Played some VP and ran 20 bucks through the Lion’s Share Progressive. Took the deuce back to the Imperial and pretty much called it a night at this point. Got back to the room around 3:30 or so and showered cause I smelled pretty horrible at this point.

Sat. 1/12

Got up around 11 and my dad and I hit the spa at Caesars because he had free passes. The spa was great. I got a lift in and hit the sauna’s and hot tubs. I was disappointed in their artic ice room because it was just foam that fell and not real snow, but cool nonetheless. Left the spa around 2:30 and used TR points for lunch at the food court at Caesars. The casino seemed to be getting pretty crowded at this point. We both already showered at the spa so we got changed and hopped on the deuce to meet everyone downtown. Met up with everyone at Binions where we pretty much had a craps table all to ourselves. I ended up rolling for about 15-20 minutes and hit about 4 points during that time. Walked away with a nice profit and headed over to the Golden Nugget where each of us used the 10 dollars in free play you received when signing up for a players card. After hanging out there for a bit we made our way down to the Vegas Club. I ended up not playing here, but instead walked down to the 4 Queens where I used some free play from the ACG and got two nice decks of cards. I also pressed the button on their free play VP machine and didn’t win crap. Cocktail waitress was there right when I sat down which was good. Next, I headed down to the El Cortez to use more free play and hit the BJ tables. My cousin and his buddy met me there and I ended up rallying back to even and we left. Went back to Binion’s for more drinking, craps and keno. Made our way to some bar above Hennesey’s or maybe it was Hennesey’s that we went to. Who knows. Saw some girls getting body paint and left after about 5 minutes. Finally got on the deuce back to the strip. Went to the Imperial. Smoked one last cigar with my cousin then I headed off to Harrah’s at around 4 am for a little rest. Up at 6:30 for a 9:00 flight. I probably left out a bunch of stuff that I don’t remember, but I can’t wait to go back.
