Final day
Had breakfast at the snack bar next to the south tower elevators. Not fancy, but just enough. Had a pastry and coffee. Headed over to Bally's to take the shuttle to the Orleans. I really liked the Orleans. After being on the strip for 3 days the Orleans was a nice break. I felt very relaxed there. I signed up for their slot card and used the fun book coupon that has 1000 points when you sign up for a card so I now have 1000+ points on my Orleans card. They gave us beads and a key chain too. Played with some success, but put it all back. Lots of 9/6 VP machines. SHuttled back, packed up our bags at Bally's and cabbed it over to the Hard Rock Hotel. Signed up for the slot card and got $20 in free slot play with a coupon I got out of the showbiz magazine. You can't cash out right away, but you keep your credits you earn so when we were all finished putting our $20 through, we each had at least $20 in quarters still. Mom hit a RWB machine and ended up leaving $76 ahead. Had the steak and shrimp special at the hard rock and loved it. SHrimp were tasty and steak was perfect. Couldn't finish the mashed potatoes since they gave you so much. Salad was nice too. Fast and Friendly service. A must do. Cabbed it to the airport and flew home. Flight was late, but a nice flight.
A great trip.
Forgot to mention on day 2 we did the Water Massage thing at the Stratosphere shops. Felt really good and for $10 I thougt it was a nice break.
Had a great time and love the town. Everything seemed clean, everyone was very friendly. A great trip.
